The Crystal City-Pentagon Rotary Club

Rotary is a global network of 1.4 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.

Rotary is made up of three parts: Rotary International, The Rotary Foundation, and Rotary Clubs like ours. 

Under the Rotary umbrella, the Crystal City-Pentagon Club has proudly served the Arlington community and the world at large since 1984. Our members are diverse, and our objective is service — in the community, in the workplace, and throughout the world. We are guided by Rotary’s motto: “Service Above Self.”

We are trying to make the world just a bit better through five avenues of service: community, youth, international, vocational, and club. Not only do we raise funds for and contribute to our worldwide initiatives, but we also develop and support local and international service projects.

Recent Recognition

2022-2023

• From Rotary International, our club earned the Rotary Citation, the most significant award a Rotary club can achieve.
• From our District 7610, our club received the District Governor’s Citation, in honor of our dedication to service, and a Certificate of Recognition for our active participation in the district’s One New Member Challenge. Several of our club members also received individual awards for their distinguished service.
